Remember when Hillary Clinton said she was “dead broke” after leaving the White House, while she was senator of New York? Apparently she was too broke to use the subway.
On Thursday, CNN aired a clip of Clinton attempting and struggling to do something every New Yorker does—swipe a metrocard to get into the subway.
Clinton’s campaign is based in Brooklyn and the Clinton Foundation has an office in Manhattan, but it doesn’t look like Clinton uses the metro to get around.
