BDC tabs six firms for environment projects

The Baltimore Development Corporation announced it prequalified six area businesses in response to its Request for Qualifications for environmental services.

The companies are Arc Environmental from Baltimore; ARM Group Inc. and Chesapeake GeoSciences Inc. from Columbia; Geo-Technology Associates Inc. from Laurel; EA Engineering, Science and Technology from Sparks;and KCI Technologies Inc. from Hunt Valley.

The businesses will carry out environmental assessments and other services related to the city?s Brownfields Initiative, among other redevelopment projects.

A five-member panel unanimously recommended the companies following interviews.
