Navy officer dies in Hawaii training exercise

A 29-year-old Navy officer died on Sunday while taking part in a training exercise at a military base in Hawaii, according to the U.S. military.

Lt. j.g. Aaron Fowler became “unresponsive” while participating in training at the Marine Corps base located in Kaneohe Bay. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to a statement from the U.S. Navy on Wednesday.
