LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A company that handles freight logistics is expanding in Louisville and plans to add up to 50 new jobs.
Total Quality Logistics is the nation’s second-largest freight brokerage firms. The Cincinnati-based company is investing $800,000 to move to a new office space on Fourth Street.
The Louisville location of the company opened in 2011 and currently employs 65 workers.
Executive Vice President Kerry Byrne says the firm will double the number of employees in Kentucky over the next three years. The company also has locations in Lexington and Erlanger, employing a combined 270 people in the state.
The company specializes in arranging transportation of full shipments for trucking companies across the country.
Kentucky has approved the company for tax incentives worth up to $450,000.
