New Hampshire Blowout

It’s probably slightly inappropriate to use the word “doohickey” in a cartoon with Bill “Slick Willie” Clinton. But, like “wingnut,” it’s a really fun word to say. In this cartoon, I tried a drawing technique (all the loose line work…) that I want to learn how to execute better. When I look back at my work, it sometimes feels forced to me. I’d like to be able to develop a smoother, more natural style, and parts of this cartoon go toward that goal. Another good thing about this cartoon is that it forced me to draw a bus. I’ve always found cars, trucks and other mechanical things annoyingly hard to render.
