Trump will talk about fight against Islamic State at Pentagon this week

President Trump will deliver remarks at the Pentagon on Thursday about the fight against the Islamic State, a White House official confirmed to the Washington Examiner on Tuesday.

His trip across town to the Pentagon will occur during Made in America Week, which will feature a number of events related to the administration’s push for companies to manufacture more of their goods in the U.S.

Trump has made the fight against radical Islamic terrorism a central feature of his national security policy. He strongly criticized the Obama administration for its reluctance to link terrorism with Islam, although critics have accused Trump of fashioning his “travel ban” executive order after the so-called “Muslim ban” he briefly floated on the campaign trail.

The Pentagon visit was first reported by The Hill.
