An explosion went off in a mosque in the Spin Ghar district of eastern Afghanistan, wounding more than a dozen.

The government spokesman for Nangarhar Province, Mohammad Hanif, told Voice of America that it appeared like the bomb had been planted inside the mosque on Friday afternoon and that at least 15 people were wounded, though there were no deaths.
