Fairfax County police arrested a suspect in a bank robbery moments after he apparently robbed the BB&T Bank at 6120A Arlington Boulevard on Thursday.
Montrell Richardson, 33, of 8523 Canterbury Drive in Annandale, entered the bank around 10:30 a.m. and demanded money from a 22-year-old female teller, according to police. She gave him the cash and the suspect fled on foot. Police quickly caught and arrested him.
Detectives are investigating whether Richardson is connected to any other bank robberies in the area.
