NEW YORK (AP) — A cat caught on video getting a vicious kick on a Brooklyn street has gotten a new home.
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in New York City says 1-year-old King was adopted Sunday, just hours after being made available. The male cat was brought to the ASPCA last month after a video surfaced of the animal being brutally kicked.
Authorities have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection to the incident.
The ASPCA says there are plenty of other animals available for adopting for anyone disappointed at not being able to bring King home.
