A new SurveyUSA poll of likely voters conducted September 1 to September 3 shows Republican Bob McDonnell leading Democrat Creigh Deeds 54 percent to 42 percent in the Virginia governor’s race. But, hey, the 35th Washington Post story about Bob McDonnell’s 20 year-old thesis is sure to bring the Republican down.
