Former Hillary Clinton senior adviser Philippe Reines says that he regrets sending a controversial tweet about Donald Trump Jr. and his estranged wife Vanessa Trump, but will refrain from deleting it.

The remorseful follow-up tweet early Thursday morning, which also said Trump Jr. “aint seen nothing yet,” came after Reines shared an article on Twitter on Wednesday. That article from Page Six claimed Vanessa Trump previously dated someone involved with a Latin gang.
“Vanessa being with a Latin King must’ve driven you insanely jealous. The machismo, the passion. Tough act to follow. Did you wonder if she fantasized about Valentin Rivera when intimate with you?” Reines tweeted earlier on Wednesday to Trump Jr. “She did. Every time.”

Reines faced a wave of backlash for that tweet, including from Hillary Clinton’s daughter Chelsea Clinton. She characterized Reines’ comments as “vile.”
Vanessa Trump filed for divorce from Trump Jr. in March. They have five children together.
