Phearse, who’s 33, pleaded guilty April 28 to a civil rights violation by threatening to bomb the Congregation Beth Israel in Houston and by making the threat by telephone.
Authorities say a caller in April 2013 left a threatening voice message at the synagogue, saying it would be bombed the following month. Prosecutors say the message referred to minorities, terrorists and Satanic groups.
