Sinema deflects question about reelection bid: ‘Really exhausting’

Published February 4, 2024 4:30pm ET

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) deflected a question on whether she will run for reelection to her seat in November, saying she is going to remain focused on her current work in Congress.

Sinema, who left the Democratic Party in December 2022, has yet to officially say if she will run for another term to represent the Grand Canyon State. When asked on CBS News’s Face the Nation if she plans to run for a second term in the Senate, Sinema answered by saying the “endless questions” about elections are “really exhausting.”
