Scoop: Jamie Lynn says Casey didn’t cheat

Jamie Lynn Spears and baby-daddy Casey Aldridge are confronting the rumors about their relationship. The couple vigorously denies to OK! that he has cheated — much less gotten another girl pregnant, as the rumor mill would have it.

Casey says talk of a fling with former pal Kelli Dawson has “not the least bit” of truth. And as for the buzz that he got her pregnant?

“That’s news to me,” the 19-year-old declares.

“That is just completely fabricated,” Jamie Lynn chimes in. “Around here, that particular girl is known to make up stories.”

But the “Zoey 101” star says her family — which is used to dealing with fabricated tabloid scandals, thanks to big sister Britney — isn’t buying the bad buzz on her fiancé.

“They know if I were in a relationship like that, I wouldn’t put up with it,” Jamie Lynn says. “My family supports me, and they support Casey also. They read those stories and take them with a grain of salt.” Well, then, why even read ‘em in the first place?

Travis Speaks

In his first interview since the horrific September plane crash that killed his best friend and three others, Travis Barker tells Us he’s on a long road to recovery — but he’s “just thankful to be alive!”

“I’ve just been in surgery after surgery,” explains the former Blink 182 drummer, speaking from the L.A. burn center where he’s being treated after traveling by bus from Georgia — understandably, he was afraid to fly. “I have third-degree burns basically from my feet up to my waist and both hands. … I’m trying to have a quick recovery and play the drums again and be able to hold my kids again. I’m going nuts not being able to see them and spend time with them!” he said.

Of his projected release date, Travis opines, “I think if this [latest] surgery went well, I’ll be here for at most two weeks.” We wish him the speediest possible recovery.

Birthday Girls

Two hot pop-star mamas celebrated their birthdays Friday night with lavish bashes — in very different styles. New mom Gwen Stefani went for an ‘80s dance-party theme — she even invited John Taylor of Duran Duran — while mother-to-be Ashlee Simpson opted for a “white trash theme,” a guest told People. (Oookay.)

Gwen’s Hollywood Hills home welcomed guests like Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Christina Aguilera, Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi and Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. “You’d never guess she’d had a baby six weeks ago,” one attendee told People of the hostess. “She looks great.”

By contrast, Ashlee’s soiree — held at her parents’ house — boasted high-profile guests like … er, her dad, Joe, and her sister, Jessica.

“Ashlee wore Daisy Dukes and platform flip-flops with a bathing suit and a fake tattoo around her belly,” an invitee told People. (Mind you, she’s eight months pregnant.)

“Joe wore a cut-off muscle T-shirt and a mullet wig,” another relayed. And “Jessica was wearing a crazy leopard-print dress that showed off a lot of cleavage.” So, she didn’t even bother to put on a costume?

Bill’s Blues

When news broke in May that Bill Murray’s wife, Jennifer Butler, was filing for divorce — amid allegations that he physically abused her and had drug and alcohol problems — fans were shocked to hear the “Groundhog Day” star might have a dark side. Now, Bill is speaking out about the suffering his ex’s bombshell caused him.

“That was devastating,” the normally jocular actor revealed to reporters while promoting his new film, “City of Ember.” “That was the worst thing that ever happened to me in my entire life.”

After a judge gave his wife custody of their four children, the funnyman says, he sank into depression.

“I was just dead, just broken,” Bill confessed. “When you’re really in love with someone and this happens — I never had anything like this happen.  It’s like your faith in people is destroyed because the person you trusted the most you can no longer trust at all … The person you know isn’t there anymore.”

We feel for Bill … but we’d certainly like to hear Jennifer’s side of the story.
