PPP reports on its latest poll of usual Republican voters in North Carolina:

Mitt Romney has gained on Newt Gingrich in the Republican primary since last month, when Gingrich barely led Rick Santorum and Romney, 25-24-22. Now, Gingrich and Romney each earn 30% of the vote to Santorum’s 20% and Ron Paul’s 11%.

Of course, these results do not consider the latest Santorum surge. The North Carolina primary is not being held until May 8.
