Volunteers are needed to help plant more than 400 trees at 20 locations in the District this fall.

Casey Trees is a nonprofit established in 2001 and is committed to restoring, enhancing and protecting D.C.’s tree canopy. More than 2,400 trees have been planted through Casey’s Community Tree Planting program.

The fall schedule starts Oct. 2 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on K Street and finishes Dec. 11 on the Metropolitan Branch Trail.
