Round two in Twitter wars: Clinton vs. Trump

It’s round two in the Twitter war between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

The presumptive Democratic nominee hit her Republican rival late Thursday in a classic troll-like quote tweet.

CNN correspondent Phil Mattingly tweeted, “Trump: ‘You tell me: who is better for the gay community and who is better for women than Donald Trump.'”

Clinton could not resist using the journalist’s tweet to troll the New York businessman.

“Hi,” Clinton wrote. But the one-word response was enough.

The quote retweet outperformed the majority of her other messages, taking in 6,500 retweets in the first half of an hour.

It’s not the first time Clinton and Trump have bickered on social media.

Last week, after Trump bashed President Obama’s endorsement of Clinton, she told the Trump — who has an affinity for tweeting — “delete your account.”

Trump responded, “How long did it take your staff of 823 people to think that up — and where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted?”

Trump has not yet hit back in response to Clinton’s latest salvo.
