If you were outside in downtown Washington during your lunch hour and thought you heard two jets flying low overhead, you did.

The Colorado-based North American Aerospace Defense Command lost communication with a small commercial jet just before noon Friday, forcing them to send two F-16 fighter jets over the District to intercept.

Communication with the commercial plane was restored before it was intercepted, and the fighters flew back to Andrews Air Force Base.
