Vice President Kamala Harris revealed she prayed for former President Donald Trump following his assassination attempt, adding that she has met with former first lady Melania Trump since then.

Harris made her comments during a campaign stop in Michigan on Wednesday, during which she condemned political violence. The vice president also mourned the death of Corey Comperatore, who was killed at the rally shooting while protecting his family.
