Joe Biden let slip he has read only parts of Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation report.

The former vice president admitted to only reviewing sections of the former special counsel’s lengthy report outlining his findings.

“I think two things are clear from that report, which I’ve read, not every page of it, but I’ve read the summary of it and I’ve read the sections relevant,” the 2020 Democratic candidate during a radio interview with the Tom Joyner Morning Show Thursday.

Biden went on to reference “six places” where Mueller “points out that there is evidence” that, if pursued, would lead you to believe Trump “committed an impeachable offense.”

“But more importantly, what’s getting lost here, he has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that there was Russian interference in this election,” the longtime senator for Delaware said of Mueller.

In the 10-minute conversation with the African American radio hosts, Biden touted his 2020 Democratic presidential campaign’s “black agenda,” declined to name a woman of color as a potential running mate, and reiterated his surprise at how he was targeted by fellow White House hopeful Kamala Harris at the opening debates in Miami.

“I thought we were friends, and I hope we still will be,” Biden said of the senator for California and one-time California state attorney general. “She asked me to go out and, called me and asked me to go to her convention and be the guy from outside of California to nominate her at her convention for the Senate seat. I did.” “We’ve talked, we’ve worked a lot together. She and my son Beau were attorneys general who took on the banks,” he added, alluding to his late son Beau Biden, who was once Delaware state attorney general.

But regardless of who wins the nomination, Joe Biden was open about the challenge Trump presents the party ahead of the 2020 contest.

“The guy that’s firing them up right now is Trump,” he said. “I hope I can fire them up too, that’s been my experience out on the trail, but the truth is I think he’s done an awful lot to coalesce a lot of people, including independents not just Democrats.”
