Several customers at a California Walgreens captured a suspected thief loading his backpack with stolen goods and then being wrestled to the ground just outside the store.
The thief entered the Alameda store alone to put bottles of pills in his backpack and was met by a man, known only as Kevin, physically stopping him outside the store.
Kevin, who noticed the thief beforehand, is heard on camera saying, “[I’m] waiting for this guy to walk out with all this stolen stuff. … Will you film me?”

“I am way bigger than you, and I will f*** you up,” Kevin says to the thief while pinning him down. “I am placing you under citizen’s arrest!”
Then, a person known by the suspect is seen approaching in a car before entering the melee. Kevin body-slams him too. Amid the struggle, Kevin loses his shoes.
Despite getting physically involved, both the thief and his accomplice got away with the stolen pills. Fortunately, the prolonged struggle allowed several customers to film it, including the license plate of the accomplice’s car. Police have since recovered the items.

Walgreens will not be seeking prosecution.
