Arlington police arrested Marc D. Hicks, 42, of Oxon Hill for striking a pedestrian, fatally wounding him and driving off.
The fatal hit-and-run occurred Sept. 16 at 3 a.m near the North Rhodes Street ramp on Route 50 eastbound. Evidence left at the scene led police to Hicks, who is being held without bond at the Arlington County Detention Center.
