The publisher working with recently fired Fox News anchor Ed Henry will no longer release his memoir.
A spokesperson for William Morrow said Wednesday the company “will no longer be publishing” Henry’s book, titled Saving Colleen: A Memoir of the Unbreakable Bond Between a Brother and Sister, shortly after he was fired from Fox following an investigation into a sexual misconduct claim from a former colleague, according to the Daily Beast.
The book, which was scheduled to be released on Sept. 15, focused on his relationship with his sister, Colleen, to whom he gave part of his liver because she has a degenerative disease.
“In Saving Colleen, Ed reflects on his childhood and close relationship with Colleen and recounts this life-changing journey they shared, from the many tests he underwent to determine if his liver would be a good match, to the outpouring of emotional and spiritual support he and his sister received when the news broke, to the day of the procedure and the first few weeks post-surgery and beyond,” read the Amazon store description.
In a memo from Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott and Fox News Media President and Executive Editor Jay Wallace sent to all employees Wednesday, the network announced Henry’s termination, which was brought to the network’s attention on June 25. The network then retained an outside law firm that independently investigated the claims.
Henry, 48, started co-anchoring America’s Newsroom with Sandra Smith beginning in January 2020, and before that, he was the weekend anchor of America’s News Headquarters on Saturdays and Sundays. Prior to his time at Fox News, he had previously worked with CNN on Inside Politics.
In 2016, Henry took time off from Fox News after an exposé from In Touch Weekly revealed that he had a 10-month affair with a Las Vegas hostess.
