Lockheed Martin, a Bethesda-based contractor and supplier for the U.S. government, announced that it will team with the government?s Most Efficient Organization, an in-house group that performs commercial activities, to provide information management and information technology services.

Part of a deal valued at nearly $450 million, MEO and Lockheed Martin will help phase in and transition to the newly required IM/IT organization. The IT and related service contracts will be applied to 55 sites throughout the United States and the Pacific Ocean.
