‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’

Finally, we muggles can get a taste of the wizarding world.

In the game based on the new “Harry Potter” film, you take Harry and friends through their fifth year at Hogwarts in the most immersive “Potter” game to date.

Using the Marauder’s Map to navigate the castle and the surrounding areas, you play out the story of the film in a richly detailed and magical environment.

Most of the missions are “go here, get this” and can get boring as you drag a slow-moving Harry from place to place.

While movement can be sluggish, the loading from area to area is seamless, and the map keeps you headed in the right direction.

The real magic is in the Wii version, where you use the Wii remote and nunchuck to cast spells like Wingardium Leviosa to move objects around and Expelliarmus to knock down opponents when dueling.

“Order of the Phoenix” throws you right in to the plot, so make sure you’ve read up.
