Many children celebrate Valentine?s Day with cards, chocolates and flowers.

Amy Fondersmith, a second-graderat Rodger?s Forge Elementary, loves Valentine?s Day. “We make mailboxes with our names on them, then make valentines for everyone in the class and put them in each others? mailboxes,” she said. “We also get our favorite candy from the teacher. I love it.”

For yummy treats and cute stuffed animals, try the heart-shaped lollipops or Beanie Babies at The Sweet Factory in Towson.

At Great American Cookies in Annapolis, kids can find giant cookie cakes decorated in pink and red icing and in the shape of hearts for their loved ones.
