The National Republican Congressional Committee is already out with two new ads for the 2012 election — one attacking West Virginia’s longtime Democratic congressman Nick Rahall, and the other targeting chief Blue Dog Heath Shuler of North Carolina:
The second NRCC ad is essentially saying that it’s more important how Blue Dogs vote than how they speak. Shuler may be a bit immune to this line of attack, however, since he ran against Nancy Pelosi for minority leader. There won’t be any “Shuler voted for Pelosi” ads in this new cycle.
