Donald Trump started off the week by attacking both Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party in less than 140 characters.
“I will win the election against Crooked Hillary despite the people in the Republican Party that are currently and selfishly opposed to me!” the presumed GOP presidential nominee tweeted Monday morning, minutes before appearing on CNN’s “New Day.”

Soon after, Trump tweeted out challenges to conservative blogger Jennifer Rubin and evangelical leader Russell Moore, two people who took to CBS’ “Face the Nation” Sunday to criticize him.
He said Rubin appeared to be in a “time warped stupor” and that Moore “is truly a terrible representative of Evangelicals and all of the good they stand for. A nasty guy with no heart!”

Despite the attacks, Trump has continued to call for the Republican Party to unite behind him as the candidate to win the general election.
“I think it would be better if it were unified, I think it would be — there would be something good about it. But I don’t think it actually has to be unified in the traditional sense,” the businessman said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.”
