Cuccinelli may run against Warner for Senate in 2014

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli may run for U.S. Senate in 2014 against former governor and current Sen. Mark Warner, Cuccinnelli told the Washington Post.

The future political plans of Virginia’s colorful top lawyer has been the topic of speculation since he took office.

Warner, who considered seeking the Democratic nomination for president in 2008, carried all but four Virginia counties in his election to the Senate. He has not said whether he will run for reelection.
