District to host online chat about parking

Have questions or complaints about parking in the nation’s capital? Bring them to the online chat D.C. officials will host Tuesday about parking in the District.

The heads of three city agencies will lead the chat, answering residents’ questions via the web or Twitter with the hashtag #parkingchat.

Terry Bellamy of the District Department of Transportation, which regulates parking, William Howland Jr. of the Department of Public Works, which enforces parking rules, and Lucinda Babers of the Department of Motor Vehicles, which adjudicates parking tickets, will all participate in the discussion.

Visit ddot.dc.gov/chatlive to see the chat Tuesday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. or to read the transcript after it ends.
