The House Committee on Homeland Security will hear testimony from three immigration officials on Tuesday morning after two American citizens were fatally shot by officers in Minnesota last month.

The witnesses are Todd Lyons, acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement; Rodney Scott, commissioner of Customs and Border Protection; and Joseph Edlow, director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Renee Good and Alex Pretti were killed by immigration officers in Minneapolis. Their deaths sparked mass outrage across the city and nation, prompting Democratic lawmakers to call for abolishing ICE.

The hearing is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
