Another MetroAccess driver has assaulted a passenger, according to Metro Transit Police.
Transit police arrested Samuel Kingston, a 59-year-old Gaithersburg resident, on Sunday after investigating a report of a sexual assault involving a MetroAccess customer, according to a Metro statement.
MetroAccess is Metro’s service for those who are not able to take bus or rail because of disabilities.
Kinston has been charged with third and fourth degree sex offense and second degree assault, which the victim says occurred Aug. 27 in Montgomery County.
Kinston is the fourth MetroAccess employee this year — and the second in the last two months — charged with assaulting a passenger.
Kinston is employed by Challenger Transportation, a subcontractor of MV Transportation, which provides MetroAccess with many of its drivers.
