Queen Elizabeth II has canceled her planned appearance at a reception at the COP26 climate change summit as doctors advise her to rest following a recent hospitalization.

Other members of the royal family, who have accompanied the queen at events since the death of Prince Phillip, will still attend the reception. Those expected to attend as the aging monarch rests include Princes Charles and William and Duchesses Kate and Camilla.
