British to prohibit anyone under 18 from watching or buying any movie featuring smoking. Guess what movies that would entail:

But the move could mean children would be banned from watching classic movies including Pinocchio and Alice In Wonderland. They would also miss out on James Bond, Sherlock Holmes, Popeye, Peter Pan and a host other films and feature-length cartoons.

One wonders how many of the AFI Top 100 Movies would survive. Here are the Top 10:

CITIZEN KANE (#1) CASABLANCA (#2), THE GODFATHER (#3), GONE WITH THE WIND (#4), LAWRENCE OF ARABIA (#5), THE WIZARD OF OZ (#6), THE GRADUATE (#7), ON THE WATERFRONT (#8), SCHINDLER’S LIST (#9) and SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN (#10).
