The former first daughter revealed in January she was pregnant, but did not disclose whether she was expecting a boy or girl.
Clinton, 39, had her first child, Charlotte, in September 2014. The couple’s other son, Aiden, was born in June 2016, when Hillary Clinton was vying for the Democratic presidential nomination. A month later, Chelsea introduced her mother at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
Hillary Clinton said around the time of Aiden’s birth that becoming a grandparent was “truly like falling in love all over again.”
“There is nothing like it. And to see your child, whether it is a daughter or a son, become a parent, is so incredible,” she said.
On Monday, the former secretary of state said she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, “are so thrilled” to welcome the newest addition to their family.
