BAYTOWN, Texas (AP) — The U.S. Coast Guard says a man who went down with a shrimp boat that overturned in the Houston Ship Channel has been found dead.

The Coast Guard and other authorities had suspended their search Tuesday evening for Ronald Lynn Galloway, captain of the shrimp boat “Mr. Anthony” which capsized near Cedar Bzyou Monday afternoon.

Coast Guard Petty Officer Manda Emery says Galloway’s father continued an independent search and found his son’s body inside the boat’s pilot house.

A Port of Houston fireboat crew had previously rescued a 53-year-old man and 13-year-old boy from atop the hull of the 41-foot boat Monday. A 20-year-old woman was rescued from underneath the boat.
