Hillary Clinton and her allies will unleash $27 million worth of attack ads in the coming weeks going after Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump in key battleground states.
The ad buys will be in Ohio, Florida and Nevada over the next six weeks, the Associated Press reported.
Clinton supporters say Trump is woefully unprepared for the June and July onslaught.
“He’s in for a rude awakening,” said Mitch Stewart, President Obama’s 2012 battleground states director, who is backing Clinton.
“This isn’t a national vote contest where you can be on cable news every day and dominate coverage,” Stewart said. “This is literally going state by state and coming up with a plan in each.”
