A company new to the United States is hoping to give D.C. commuters more options for parking. The website parkatmyhouse.com connects commuters with homeowners who want to rent out their driveways or lots as parking spaces. The company, backed by BMW i Ventures and first launched in the United Kingdom in 2006, claims to have brought $5 million to European homeowners already. The site is now open to commuters and homeowners in Washington, New York and Boston. Spaces on the site Tuesday were for $250/month in Dupont Circle or near Connecticut Avenue and K Street, and $90/month near Fort Myer in Arlington. — Liz Essley
