It’s not Halloween yet, but TrailsforYouth.Org and Fairfax County Park Authority will present the 5th Annual Verizon Children’s Health Festival and Monster Mash Mountain Bike Race this Saturday.
The event at Wakefield Skate Park in Annandale will provide “a day of fun, free family activities that directly relate to improving the health and daily lives of our community residents,” said Julie Childers, executive director of TrailsforYouth.Org.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m., activities such as obstacle courses, skating demos and fun runs will entertain the family, while experts on fitness and nutrition will give demonstrations. The festivities will last until 2 p.m
