Farewell, Joe Gibbs

Knowing that it’s notoriously dangerous to draw a cartoon about the New Hampshire primary (or any vote, for that matter) before the results are actually in, I had planned to do something on the Redskins. However, I didn’t expect to draw a Joe Gibbs retirement cartoon. I’ve read everywhere that he’s the epitome of class, and his reason for resigning as coach — to attend to his family and grandson with leukemia — confirmed it.
