<br/></div> <p>Officials are warning of traffic troubles in Georgetown after a man jumped off the Key Bridge Friday evening.</p> <p>Police are closing off parts of the bridge “sporadically… because of the public safety response,” according to an emergency alert.</p> <p>Officials said they would try to keep the closures short, but warned drivers to avoid the area.</p> UPDATE: U.S. Park Police say an officer died while responding to the Key Bridge incident Friday evening. Sergeant Michael Boehm was assisting in the emergency response when he collapsed, Park Police spokesman Sergeant David Schlosser said. Boehm was taken to Georgetown University Hospital, but doctors and emergency workers were unable to resuscitate him.
