When two tiny kittens needed help, there was no shortage of Prince George’s County firefighters ready to answer the call of duty.
Forty firefighters responded to a report of two kittens stuck in a Beltsville storm drain on Friday, and were able to rescue the pint-sized newborns just in time, according to a WJLA report.
Had they not been found on Friday, officials feared the kittens may not have survived in the drain given the predictions of thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday.
