SEE IT: Weight Watchers trolls Kanye West in tweet amid controversy

The weight-loss company Weight Watchers tweeted a joke about Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, on Tuesday in reference to his recent severed relationship with Adidas.

“Congrats Adidas on losing 163 lbs,” the tweet read, implying the company lost the weight of the rapper.

Adidas announced it would be cutting ties with Ye over the rapper’s recent string of antisemitic and offensive remarks. As a result, the company has also implemented a hiring freeze to deal with the financial impact of ending the Yeezy brand.

“This is not up for discussion. We need our employees’ talent and skills within the organization,” Adidas spokesman Rich Efrus told Forbes.

West was also dropped by the fashion house Balenciaga earlier this week. The rapper’s own clothing brand Yeezy was made by Balenciaga during its partnership with retailer Gap. Notably, it was Ye that publicly terminated his contract with Gap in September, alleging the retailer wasn’t holding up its end of the deal. While the retailer sold Yeezy’s blue puffer jacket in a matter of hours in June of last year, it did not sell any other Yeezy products by the second half of the year, which Ye claimed was a violation of its contract.

At about that same time, JPMorgan Chase gave Ye until Nov. 21 to switch institutions, according to a letter. The Washington Examiner was able to confirm its authenticity and its date, which was Sept. 20, long before Ye’s recent controversies. JPMorgan Chase did not provide a comment to the Washington Examiner as to why the relationship was terminated but said it came after a “recent discussion” with the rapper.

The rapper appears to be on the hunt for a new partnership, as he appeared at shoe company Skecher’s headquarters unannounced Wednesday. He was ultimately escorted out.
