Muth, accused of beating and strangling his 91-year-old Georgetown socialite wife to death in August, has asked a judge for permission to wear his Iraqi Army uniform during his trial in D.C. court. Muth, 47, claims he is a staff brigadier general in the Iraqi Army. But according to court documents submitted by the prosecution, Muth told detectives his uniforms were tailor-made in South Carolina. The Iraqi Embassy says Muth was never in that country’s army.
