Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich says President-elect Trump and the new Senate minority leader, Chuck Schumer of New York, will still be able to work together, despite a fiery exchange last week.
Schumer made an appearance with fellow top Democrats last week to say Trump’s support of a plan to repeal and replace Obamacare will “make America sick again” — which is a play on Trump’s campaign slogan, “make America great again.” Trump later fired back, calling Schumer the “head clown” of the Democrats.
