In Sunday’s 60 Minutes interview with the inestimable Katie Couric, Hillary Clinton explained one of the keys to staying healthy on the campaign trail: “Wash your hands all the time.” It’s probably not bad advice, but still, you’d think the echos would have stopped her saying it: Out, damned spot! out, I say! … What, will these hands ne’er be clean? … Here’s the smell of the blood still; all the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand.
