Who: Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., chairwoman of the Democratic Party What: She criticized Republicans who opposed President Obama’s bailout of the automakers. “If it were up to the candidates for president on the Republican side,” she said, “we would be driving foreign cars.”
Why it’s dim: After she said this, the Hill newspaper checked and discovered that she drives a Japanese car.
Cure: Force her to give up that import — which Republicans must have forced her to buy — and ride mass transit everywhere. She might learn something about the pain that liberals and their environmental policies inflict on the middle class.
