KAMPALA, Uganda (AP) — In a story May 19 about the conviction in Uganda of a nurse, The Associated Press reported erroneously that she was found guilty of trying to infect her patient with HIV. She was found guilty of negligence which exposed her patient to HIV, not of intentionally trying to infect the patient.
