The University of Maryland?s School of Medicine will use Trahan, Burden & Charles? public relations division, Baltimore-based TBC PR, to help create and promote events surrounding the medical school?s bicentennial anniversary this year.
The agency will work throughout the spring and summer to boost media coverage, plan and arrange the celebratory events. This year, the school will host academic and public lectures, alumni events, student service outreach to regional communities, and two ceremonies and a black tie gala to celebrate the graduation of its 198th class. Maryland?s medical school is the oldest public medical school in the country, according to a TBC press release.
