EASTON, N.Y. (AP) — State police say a 60-year-old man has died after a truck carrying 66,000 pounds of blacktop crashed in the Washington County town of Easton.

Police say Robert Graham of Fort Ann was driving the truck north to a paving project when he lost control while turning on a downhill stretch just after 8 a.m. Tuesday. The truck overturned and Graham was pinned under the driver’s side.

A coroner pronounced Graham dead at the scene.

The truck is owned by Charles Friedman Excavating of Hudson Falls.
